Dear guest, welcome to “SPACE MAGIC”.

By entering, you accept and agree to be legally bound by the following terms and conditions and by the “SPACE MAGIC” house rules on display in the building.

1. Opening Hours and Pricing

The prices and opening hours in force at any time can be found on the notice boards and on our homepage. Purchased admission tickets are non-returnable and will not be replaced if lost.

2. Conduct/Use of Attractions

We ask all guests to be considerate of others when using the play equipment. Parents/carers are responsible for the supervision of their children at “SPACE MAGIC”. The operator does not accept any duty of supervision or custody.

“SPACE MAGIC” equipment and facilities may only be used in accordance with their intended purpose. Notwithstanding the operator’s duty to maintain the equipment and facilities in a proper and safe condition, all use of all play equipment as at the user’s own risk.

For safety reasons, “SPACE MAGIC” socks must be worn at all times while in the adventure maze, the ninja course, the toddler zone and the trampoline arena. The socks are inexpensive and can be purchased at the cash desk.

We recommend that users wear sports shoes with non-marking soles while in the laser tag and laser game area. We also recommend that sports shoes be worn when using the climbing walls. In exceptional cases, users may be permitted to enter the attractions wearing clean street shoes.

3. Food and Drinks

At “SPACE MAGIC”, we offer a selection of food and drinks at normal retail prices. For this reason, you are not permitted to bring your own food or drinks. This ban does not include baby food, which we are happy to heat for you if required. Food and drinks are strictly prohibited in the play areas.

4. Online Booking

The “SPACE MAGIC” website includes a shop where you can book various types of admission tickets. No cash refund of the admission price is possible in the event of booking cancellations. If a booking is cancelled not later than seven days before the booked date, we will issue a voucher for the value of the purchase amount. The voucher is valid for three years.

5. Liability

Any liability in ordinary negligence on the part of the operator or on the part of any vicarious agent or legal representative of the operator is limited to direct losses that are foreseeable and typical for the type of contract entered into. The operator accepts liability neither for accidents caused by guests themselves nor for losses or injury attributable to improper use of the equipment/play facilities and/or caused by other guests. These limitations and exclusions of liability do not apply in the event of bodily injury, injury to health or loss of life attributable to the operator.

The operator accepts no liability for any damage to guests’ clothing sustained while using the equipment/play facilities.

“SPACE MAGIC” has cloakrooms and lockable lockers available for use by guests. Use of these facilities as at guests’ own risk. The lockers must not be left locked overnight. Any items left in them after the close of business will be removed and treated as lost property in accordance with the provisions in the next paragraph.

The operator accepts no liability for any lost items, clothing, money or valuables, even in cases where they go missing from locked lockers or the car park. Lost property will be held for collection at the cash desk. Any items of lost property remaining uncollected will be dealt with in accordance with the applicable laws.

If visitor numbers exceed a specified occupancy level, the operator has the legal right to restrict further admission for fire protection and safety reasons. Please be aware that this may lead to longer-than-usual waiting times. The operator has the legal right to restrict access to the entire adventure park or to individual facilities within it. No restriction of this nature can give rise to any claim for damages or compensation.

6. General information

Children aged seven and older are permitted to visit “SPACE MAGIC” unaccompanied by adults. This does not entail any transfer of the parental duty of supervision to “SPACE MAGIC” or its staff. The staff of “SPACE MAGIC” are not responsible for supervising children. Any child younger than seven years of age visiting “SPACE MAGIC” must be accompanied by a parent or other adult responsible for their supervision.

Guests must follow all directions given by “SPACE MAGIC” staff and the instructions on the equipment/play facilities at all times. In the event of any violation of the house rules or of directions given by “SPACE MAGIC” staff, the operator has the right to expel the guests in question from the premises. In such cases, no refund of the admission price will be given.

For everyone’s safety, guests are not permitted to bring glass/porcelain containers/items or their own toys into the play areas. Guests are also prohibited from bringing along items that are sharp, pointed or dangerous in any other way.

The building is equipped with a modern fire alarm system. Open flames (candles, sparklers, etc.) are prohibited in all areas of the building. Smoking is also strictly prohibited in all areas of the building and is allowed only in the designated smoking zones in the outdoor area. Any non-compliance with these fire rules risks triggering the fire alarms. If the fire alarms are triggered in this way, the resulting costs (e.g. for fire brigade call-outs) will be borne by the person responsible for triggering the alarm.

To protect the safety of all guests, the operator reserves the right to refuse admission to “SPACE MAGIC” to any person who the operator deems for any reason to be unfit to enter (e.g. because they are visibly under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances or have open wounds, etc.). In such cases, the operator is under no obligation to give reasons for refusing admission.

Please ensure that you return all borrowed “SPACE MAGIC” property and equipment to the cash desk before leaving the building. If you damage or lose this equipment, you will be required to pay compensation. Filming and still photography are permitted in the building. However, you are not permitted to film or photograph other guests unless you have their consent. Any filming or photography for commercial purposes or for the press requires prior consent in writing from the operator.

Use of the parking spaces provided is at your own risk. The operator is under no obligation to provide security for the parking spaces, nor is it required to maintain their parking surfaces and other equipment so as to protect vehicles from damage (e.g. by broken glass, nails or similar).

“SPACE MAGIC” reserves the right to make photographic and video recordings for promotional use.
